Ingredients:Onion, vegetable oil, garlic, ginger, panch phoron (cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fennel seeds, nigella seeds, fenugreek seeds) turmeric, Kashmiri chilli, cumin, coriander, garam masala, asafoetida (gum from a variety of giant fennel).
Example Recipe (2 serves):150 grams Janu's South Indian curry paste250ml coconut milk200gms tinned tomatoes3/4 cup cooked red lentils3/4 cup cooked potatoesWater
Heat paste with coconut milk, tomatoes, lentils, potatoes. Add water if needed.
